these gorgeous shoes were sitting in a shop window in Budapest when we were there last year. aren't they gorgeous? I do love nice shoes but I'm not sure i could totter around in these....art for your feet!

sally greets the day. my aunty thinks she was a little girl in her last life. creative weekend

I've had a lovely creative weekend getting ready for the Quota craft fair in Yamba on the 3rd & 4th october. these birdies, are made from vintage linen and lace - I've also made xmas trees and hearts. the brighter ones are made from pieces of my machine embroidery. I hope someone will like them to decorate their xmas tree this year!

up early today and playing with photos. I took these months ago. wouldn't it be lovely to have hours to play on the computer, but there's so much else calling....like my sewing machine and the op shop! thanks for the lovely comments everyone.

garden moments in spring

my garden is looking pretty at the moment. I love the green, pink and mauve colours of kale and primulas. waking up to birds singing in the trees outside my bedroom is a lovely way to start the day.
