I have a couple of xmas wreaths I bring out each year - sometimes I redo them a little - sometimes a lot. this one has been around for a few years now and looks pretty under the lights on my verandah. works with my new xmas background don't you think?!

I like my blog background to be minimal so the photos play central role, however I thought I would get in the Xmas moment and add a background (or maybe two or three or....) throughout December . this one is from cute n cool - love the rabbit and snowman! thanks!

summer moments

the weather here has been so hot lately. my garden is looking very shabby because I haven't weeded for weeks...and until it cools down a bit it's not likely to happen any moment soon! in admist the weeds though are some treasures like these beautiful artichokes I planted over two years ago. they have only beared fruit this year and I can't say I'm impressed with eating fresh artichokes (but I love marinated ones) but oh! the flowers...how gorgeous!
