last week I spent six lovely days in my studio (that sounds a bit presumptuous given the mess in there!) printing fabrics, dyeing, playing, dancing to music, discharge dyeing, stamping, stitching and generally having fun creating whatever took my fancy. I plan to work on some art quilts for exhibitions in 2010 and this is the beginning. here are some of the results...

Hi Kerrie - these all look fantastic (and intriguing)and your week sounds just wonderful! Look forward to seeing what you do with them. PS The jacaranda photos are lovely too - I have been enjoying them here as there are quite a lot in the older parts of our town too. So vivid!
